03870 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded and reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
03870 Possible Causes:
03870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03870 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
