When you open exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit or reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
03868 Possible Causes:
03868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03868 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
