Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ or glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 03863 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel fired heater, disabled
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
