This something to do with the intake camshaft timing manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 2, system too lean off idle or change post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit is the final reason of the code. |
03863 Possible Causes:
03863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03863 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control module, internal circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
