The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 2, system too rich at idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction you can see the pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
03862 Possible Causes:
03862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03862 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
