03858 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground or change different wheel speed signals, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |

03858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03858 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
