This code were stamped on VW Engine case supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low you can see the power supply voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03854 Possible Causes:
03854 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03854 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
