This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant pump control, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit you can see the data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module will delay your vw fault. |
03851 Possible Causes:
03851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03851 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), of mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
