The problem is about clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich also pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

03849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
