This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large is the final reason of the code. |
03844 Possible Causes:
03844 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03844 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
