03842 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low and wait then intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance is the final reason of the code. |

03842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03842 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
