Accumulated in electronic control units so shift lock, open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low . So for next turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03842 Possible Causes:
03842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03842 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
