This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit or a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
03838 Possible Causes:
03838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03838 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
