03836 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors you can see the potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
03836 Possible Causes:
03836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03836 Code
- Inspect all the connections particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
