03821 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03821 Possible Causes:
03821 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 03821 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
