This code were stamped on VW Engine case torque management request input signal b, low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation and load signal stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
03817 Possible Causes:
03817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03817 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
