Diameter in engine please check dtc memory of central electric ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal and wait then malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03816 Possible Causes:
03816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03816 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
