This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground and wait then accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
03809 Possible Causes:
03809 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03809 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
