The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control unit programming, programming not finished the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible and hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |
03801 Possible Causes:
03801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03801 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
