This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
03800 Possible Causes:
03800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 03800 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
