This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03796 Possible Causes:
03796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 03796 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
