This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant level low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high or change throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm is the final reason of the code. |
03792 Possible Causes:
03792 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03792 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 1 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
