When you open fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low or change control unit programming, programming not finished will delay your vw fault. |
03786 Possible Causes:
03786 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03786 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
