When you open cylinder 11 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
03761 Possible Causes:
03761 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 03761 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
