This something to do with the intake camshaft timing brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed . On the other hand oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |

03749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 03749 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
