03718 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small and fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03718 Possible Causes:
03718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03718 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
