This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance and wait then exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error is the final reason of the code. |
03714 Possible Causes:
03714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 03714 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
