Staring in engine reset-resistant limp-mode active mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high or vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation is the final reason of the code. |
03700 Possible Causes:
03700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03700 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
