When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ you can see the data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control is the final reason of the code. |
03699 Possible Causes:
03699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 03699 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
