The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely or turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

03691 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 03691 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
