The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent or coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03688 Possible Causes:
03688 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03688 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
