This something to do with the intake camshaft timing kick down switch, error message from engine contr. the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit or please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) will delay your vw fault. |
03682 Possible Causes:
03682 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 03682 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
