This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low also o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
03660 Possible Causes:
03660 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03660 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
