The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or change control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
03660 Possible Causes:
03660 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03660 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
