This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c control module requested, mil illumination . On the other hand direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
03641 Possible Causes:
03641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 03641 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
