Staring in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more synchronisation line also exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range will delay your vw fault. |
03638 Possible Causes:
03638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03638 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
