When you open control module defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus or change valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
03621 Possible Causes:
03621 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 03621 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
