This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
03618 Possible Causes:
03618 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03618 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
