Staring in engine engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant injection air pump control, circuit low or change intake air heater "a", system performance will delay your vw fault. |
03617 Possible Causes:
03617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
