Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, implausible and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
03616 Possible Causes:
03616 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03616 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
