03604 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) . On the other hand fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
03604 Possible Causes:
03604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 03604 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for coolant system circuit, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
