036 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more turbocharger speed sensor, circuit and wait then engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
036 Possible Causes:
036 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 036 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced limited power
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
