The problem is about minimum throttle position, not learned mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 1 above knock threshold also 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
036 Possible Causes:
036 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 036 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
