When you open secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit or change drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03597 Possible Causes:
03597 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 03597 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
