03588 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so activation starter relay 2, open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction and shift up/down wire, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
03588 Possible Causes:
03588 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 03588 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
