03587 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on or pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
03587 Possible Causes:
03587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03587 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
