Diameter in engine secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 1 above knock threshold or change friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
03543 Possible Causes:
03543 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03543 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
