Staring in engine fuel supply heater, control circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 1, circuit low and crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
03531 Possible Causes:
03531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 03531 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
