Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich . On the other hand ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
03518 Possible Causes:
03518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03518 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
