The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction or change glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
03518 Possible Causes:
03518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 03518 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
