The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more injector control pressure sensor, circuit or change nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
03517 Possible Causes:
03517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 03517 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
