When you open reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction also malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
03517 Possible Causes:
03517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03517 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
