This something to do with the intake camshaft timing leak in air intake system retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start signal for back-up lights, open and fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
03514 Possible Causes:
03514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03514 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
