Diameter in engine ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition switch run/start position, circuit high also injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
03498 Possible Causes:
03498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 03498 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
