This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration also injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
03498 Possible Causes:
03498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 03498 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
