Staring in engine exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, stuck closed or change ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
03497 Possible Causes:
03497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 03497 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
