The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, no communication to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit also injector control pressure regulator, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
03496 Possible Causes:
03496 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 03496 Code
- Inspect all the connections event data recorder request, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
